HotPoint Trio is Asheville's Gypsy Jazz Swing trio,
playing regularly at local venues, and available for private events.
HotPoint Trio pays homage to the acoustic swing jazz style created in 1930's Paris,
by guitarist Django Reinhardt and violinist Stephane Grappelli, known as Gypsy Jazz.
HotPoint plays various genres incorporating a contemporary style and interpretation into their live performances.
HotPoint Trio was formed in 2012 and consists of:
Steve Karla (guitar),
Trevor Stoia (upright bass, vocals)
Matt Williams (violin, mandolin, vocals)
